Sarah Hesterman, Founder
Sarah Hesterman is the Founder of Creative Realization and serves as project Producer and Director. She grew up in East Lansing, Michigan and is a graduate of New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts with a B.F.A. in Film & Television. Most recently, Sarah produced the short international documentary Seeds of Hope in association with the W.K. Kellogg Foundation. The film won a Telly Award in the social issue category as well as the Environment Award at the 2004 Media that Matters film festival. Sarah is currently developing a feature length documentary that explores the connection between poverty, hunger and health in America’s inner-cities. Sarah is Producer/Director of the independent documentary “Unsigned…” about an aspiring hip-hop group from Brooklyn, currently in post-production. For the past four years Sarah has worked at Gotham Pictures as a producer of promotional videos for corporations, foundations and non-profits. Sarah is dedicated to creating media that deals responsibly with critical social issues and her life goal is to raise awareness and understanding through film.
